Characteristics
Slip resistance - important information
Dalsouple rubber is designed to offer a good degree of slip resistance underfoot in dry conditions. However, it can still be slippy when wet. To minimise the risk of slippage, it is important to use effective entrance matting around all external entrances, and to use warning signs when cleaning takes place.
Underfloor Heating
Dalsouple rubber flooring is suitable for use on subfloors with some underfloor heating systems. Prior to installation it is important to obtain confirmation from the heating supplier that the specified system is compatible with a resilient floorcovering.
The surface temperature of the floor must not exceed 27 degrees C.
It is recommended that the heating is not in operation for 48 hours prior to installation of the flooring and that is not in use for a period of 7 days once the floor laying is complete. When reactivated, it's recommended that heating is increased be increments of 5 degrees C each day until normal operating temperature is reached.
Please confirm with the approved adhesive supplier, which product is compatible with underfloor heating. (Dalsouple recommend Mapei, 01384 483900)
Indentation
As with many comparable products, indentation from high point loading may occur. Please refer to manufacturers of specified furniture to ascertain compatibility.
